AWA Student Research Grant
Open to all AWA Student Members; March 1st application deadline.
AWA Student Research Presentation Grant
Open to all AWA Student Members; January 31st and July 31st application deadlines.
AWA Professional Research Grant
Open to all AWA Members; March 1st deadline for application.
AWA Microgrants
Open to member and non-member archaeology students, emerging professionals, and Tribal heritage-related employees in the PNW; rolling deadline; part of the General Fund.
AWA Regional Event Grants
Support for AWA area group events and meet ups; rolling deadline; part of the General Fund.
Donations
As a non-profit organization, AWA depends entirely on donations and revenues from annual dues to fund our services and programs, including offering grants. Your donations go directly to subsidizing member events and meet-ups, helping students and researchers create new knowledge and present it to the archaeological community, as well as financially supporting individuals in moments of need within the archaeological community with one-time microgrants. Your donations empower AWA to fulfill its mission, and we couldn’t do it without you!
