About the Meeting:Recovery of the national economy has been sluggish at best, and recent political
wrangling on Capitol Hill may have adversely impacted the rate of recovery and
its timing. Another major factor affecting said recovery is that the vast majority of
the ‘risk-taking’ developers are unable to finance development projects. Given the
situation, how does the all-important construction industry recover? How does the
recovery impact tribes and their investments?Current economic circumstances have far-reaching implications for all communities,
including tribal communities and their casino investments and their construction
labor force. However, during the past couple of years, tribal projects that have
been undertaken are realizing significant savings in terms of fees and costs, thereby
providing the owners with significant, long-term competitive business advantages.
What has allowed these tribes to successfully plan, finance, and launch these new
development projects? Join us for the 2011 Tribal Development Series conference
as we examine tribal strategies and success stories and learn how to enhance
sustainable development in Indian Country.The 2011 Enhancing Sustainable Development In Indian Country will be at the
